Life
My name is Matt Bango and by day I am a 24 year old Designer & Developer working at 212MEDIA in New York City. I have recently graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, NY in May 2008 with a Bachelors degree in Information Technology. I end up using a lot of the money that I make from my web development passion to fuel my photography passion.
I received my first camera for Christmas in 2005 and it opened up a new world to me. Seeing the world through a lens was something I had never experienced and something I immediately fell in love with. I love creating photographs, it doesn't matter what the subject is, but I have become obsessed with the natural world. Watching a Peregrine Falcon dive through the air at 200+ miles-per-hour is something you have to see in person to appreciate. Hopefully my photographs will share with you some of the amazing places and animals that I have seen.
Equipment
Many of the photos you see on this site were taken with a Nikon D90 body and Nikon 300mm f/4 AF-S lens. I have recently switched from Nikon and upgraded my gear to a full Canon Setup.
